Plaza Deck Waterproofing - Out of Sight, But Not Out of Mind!
The presentation focuses on plaza decks (including terraces, amenity decks, pool decks, etc.) and good design practices to implement as part of the building waterproofing design. Course will also focus on misc. coordination needed with other sub-consultants and common issues observed in the field, including transitions. Lastly, we will discuss various solutions to handle unique design challenges and other challenges that continue to arise due to increased landscape design complexity.

Speaker: Bill Jones, RRC, RWC, RRO
Speaker Bio: Mr. Jones is the manager of roofing and waterproofing consulting services for the Central US and Latin American Region for CDC. Mr. Jones has provided roofing, waterproofing and building envelope consulting services to Architects, Owners, Contractors and Attorneys for over a decade. Mr. Jones provides design consulting services for a wide variety of new construction and remedial construction projects, including, but not limited to, Hospitality and Gaming, Resorts, Healthcare, Universities, Stadiums, Museums, Institutions, Low and High-Rise Commercial Office, Residential, Low and Mixed-Use in both the public and private sectors
