Liquid Applied Roofing & Waterproofing Membranes

Speaker: Eric Nickler, Sales Rep, SIKA Liquid Applied Membranes

Speaker Bio: Eric Nickler is the Sales representative covering North Texas and Oklahoma. An alumnus of West Virginia University Eric has over 20 years’ experience in the commercial roofing and coating business sector. Eric started with Sika in 2017 but prior to that he served as a Regional Sales Manager for a large coating manufacturer as well as a single ply manufacturer.

Learning Objectives:

Advantages of liquid applied membranes vs. conventional roof systems.
Attendees will learn about the composition and make up of the different types of liquid applied membranes and the Pros and Cons of each.
Step by step process of installing liquid applied membranes over various substrates and the importance of substrate preparation.
Additionally, what are the challenges facing conventional roofing systems and the what are the benefits of installing a monolithic system.
